ICT in school - is it enough?

Digital skills are one of the five basic skills in the curriculum. The international study shows SITES That there is more use of ICT in the Norwegian school, Than in other countries.

In Norway, overtaken ICT often exceptionally two help students in exploratory and Investigative activities.

Norwegian schools scored very well in terms of basic equipment Such as computers, projector, and network access, Compared with The Other countries surveyed. Over 60 percent of Norwegian schools reporting five or fewer students per computer.

That all exceptional schools ICT in teaching, and all schools give students access to the Internet. A substantial majority of the Norwegian school leaders Believe the use of ICT is Important, Among Other Things for the student Cooperation and organizational skills, responsibility and the Structuring of Their own learning and two meet parents' and society's Expectations.

These are included in the survey

In my course ITL202 we are working with a chart of ICT use in Our School we are working at. Link to Our work here is: http://sites.google.com/site/palhamberg2/ITK202

It is very interesting to compare our schools, and our conclusion from the course is that every teacher have to learn more about ICT. All teachers have to be educated in ICT, because the pupils can soon be better than us teachers to use a computer, and that`s a disgrace..
In 100 years students have gone from cold classrooms, simple wooden benches, cool frame and a string teacher with the cane to the Microsoft Learning Gateway - MLG. Blackboard and chalk have been replaced with a laptop and projector. The students are about to have their own personal computer. Textbooks will be replaced with its own intranet, where assignments and homework are cataloged at different levels.

Gorgeous Font replaced the keyboard and touch method and the strict teacher is strict rates. e-mail - if the student has not done his homework.
Yes, what about the teacher? A status and position in free fall?
No doubt that the teacher had a more significant and powerful person in the past.
Today, many teachers more than enough to keep up with their students in the use of digital tools, but in contrast to the blackboard and chalk, the teacher will never be "out".

If this is going further, we can be replaced with computer programs and computer games, and the pupils do everything by themselves.
I read an interesting note at tu.no about PC-games. The note was about how games can be a treat to teachers. Pupils learn more mathemathics with playing games than listening to the teacher. Follow this link: http://www.tu.no/jobb/article182851.ece

It`s interesting that use of Pc games in some year may be a fact, and it is positive things about that too.
